BAGUIO!!!

Last December, we at CGS Music Ministry went out of town for a short vacation -- in BAGUIO!! Just imagine 22 food-lovers, camera-addicts in one house, one van -- hah!@ I'll run short of adjectives! :) All I could say is that it was sooooooooooooooo memorable --the cozy home we've stayed in (that breath-taking stairs!), the places we've been, having breakfast at the veranda overlooking the postcard-perfect Baguio while inhaling the crisp, fresh, air... braving those really chilly nights and morning baths, the souvenir/pasalubong-buying moments, loads of laughter, kwentuhan at kulitan... and of course, the endless picture-taking (so many that we thought FB would explode! haha!) ... waaaah! i'll miss all of that.... :(

It was first time that me and my family did not go to Nasugbu, Batangas to visit the tombs of our Lolo Ito and Lola Bibing. So, we just lit candles and offered prayers for them at home. While watching the candles melt, i remembered my cam and thought of experimenting using different exposures.. ;)

PIPHO 5X

Last Oct. 19, Pinoy Photographers (PIPHO) celebrated their 5th year anniversary at SM North Edsa and I was there to participate. It was hardly two days before the event when i was able to register for membership (thanks to my good friend, Othan Haber who helped me signed up and accompanied me to SM North, 'was my first time to go there, haha!). It was a great event, for only P300 registration, i got a kit, a PIPHO shirt, a KFC snack, a privilege to take shots of the models they invited plus a chance in the raffle. I even had my souvenir pic developed in 8'10 size for free! I did enjoy taking photos of the models (we were assigned 1 model per group though) -- my photography spirit was definitely revived! :)

CHOCOLATES!

i've been quite sad lately -- one of my good friends is acting really weird and aloof towards me, our company is on a hot seat now for some bad allegations and worst... i missed RAIN's concert (RAIN is my ultimate favorite Korean actor) last Sept. 11 because im on a "closed-wallet" policy nowadays... waaah!! But, God really has his ways of making me smile -- just last Thu. i've received a parcel from a good friend in New Zealand (thanks, Jeff!) containing bars of CADBURY and WHITTAKER chocolates, all with my favorite almonds and macademia! WOAH! I was so happpppppy! :) So, while I was munching the first WHITTAKER bar (yum! luv it!), i was reflecting how God works in simple yet wonderful ways in my life just to let me know, "hey, Dredd, I'M STILL HERE!" Life's really a box of chocolates, u dont know what u'l get. Now i'm smiling.:)

SINGAPORE 2009

It was summer last year when I, together with my officemates (Ateng and her hubby, Ate Espie and Mam Nilds had a chance to go visit Singapore (on a promo fare again, hehe!). I was really astounded how clean and beautiful the place really was and how disciplined are the people there. Those 5 days were simply unforgettable. So, as expected, i took pixx -- lots of it! :)

this cable ride was quite scary coz. unlike the usual, this one is open...funny thing was, we conquered our fear just so we can took pixx while on this ride coz the pixx they offer were expensive.. haha!
